Piano teaching

Well I slipped up on the diet today, had Nandos. That's what happens when I leave DH in charge of lunch. I'll just have to do extra time on the exercise bike to make up for it.

I'm getting frustrated with SIL. I teach 2 of her kids piano and the youngest is not doing well. She has self esteem issues and IMO is immature for her age and needs alot of support and encouragement to keep her motivated. When I tried to bring this up with SIL she snapped back "She just doesn't have time to practice". Bullshit!!!!!! This child has plenty of time to play with her dolls, sit in front of the TV or computer..... The person who doesn't have time (or care factor it seems) is SIL. She spends so much time running the boys to their sports and doing her own thing she doesn't give enough to time to her daughters interests (which are so few because she is not encouraged). I'm thinking of trying to tactfully discuss this with MIL. She is supportive of the piano lessons....she pays for them. I'm sure if SIL were paying she would care more. I think this needs to be resolved or I am going to recommend lessons cease at the end of the year.
